MCKINNEY - VENTO HOMELESS ACT (MVA)

If you were homeless or transferred schools between October 1, 2005, and June 26, 2008, you may be eligible for MVA services and have the right to transfer back to your school of origin if feasible. For more information, stop by the Registrar's office to obtain a letter from Superintendent Kathryn S. Matayoshi.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal privacy law that gives parents certain protections with regard to their children's education records, such as report cards, transcripts, disciplinary records, contact and family information, and class schedules. (http://bit.ly/FERPAHI)
